Thanks for visiting!

We are a family run business located in rural Dunkerton, Bath, and we work across two small cottages. We are licensed by Bath & North East Somerset Council for day care and home boarding, and we are vet approved. At No.1 Ten Acre, we are permitted to have 4 dogs, and at No. 2, we can have 3 dogs. All small to medium breeds. We are also able to accommodate an extra 5 day care only dogs in our play barn. These numbers exclude our own.

Boarders are usually cared for by Anne @ No.1 and day care customers by Jemma @ No.2, although we are licensed for both activities in both cottages and so this may change from time to time.

Our facilities include large enclosed gardens and an exercise paddock, play barn and cosy indoor accommodation within the cottages – a real home from home. The premises is covered by CCTV surveillance at all times, and our setting boasts lovely countryside walks.

If you’re like us, your pets have become family members. Alfie (our Jack Russell) and Luna (our Chihuahua) are certainly important members of our family. When you can’t be home for your pet, you want them taken care of with the same love and attention you always give them, and that’s exactly what we do at Ten Acre Canine Cottages- because we love dogs!

Whether you are going on holiday, working or have other obligations, Ten Acre is sure to be your ideal solution. We have owned dogs for many years and whether it is an occasional visit, or on a more regular basis, we know your pet will have a wonderful time with us.

Both cottages have a member of staff trained in Canine First Aid, and we are both insured with PetPlan Sanctuary. There are five adults who work across the premises at different times, so each dog has a lot of individual attention and is always monitored. We have two school aged children living at No.2 who enjoy supervised play sessions, which the dogs adore.

Please take a look at our website and our Facebook page (see below) for more information and photos. When you’re ready, we would love to hear from you via our contact/book visit/find out more form above, and we will let you know of our availability and arrange a visit.

We look forward to meeting you soon!
