  • Within 48 hours you will be advised on whether or not we have a suitable vacancy
  • You will be invited to arrange a visit and a settling in period as appropriate (a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice of the dates you require is recommended in order to fit this in). You will then also be required to complete the registration and booking forms
  • Settling in periods are to ensure that your dog is happy in our care and that all dogs can get along reasonably well. We are a family setting, and have regular returning customers who we like to get used to each other
  • It is recommended that the settling in period consists of at least 4 visits- 2 during the day time, and 2 overnight. Day care clients will be offered one month. During this period, it is essential that you are available to collect your dog in the event he or she doesn’t settle well, or that you have a suitable back up care arrangement. If you decide not to use the recommended settling in period, or you use it to go on holiday or to work, then you understand the extra financial risks of having to return, or arrange for someone else to care for your dog for the remainder of the time you are away
  • An invoice will sent to you for the settling in period, deposit and the dates you require
  • Your booking will be confirmed on receipt of your deposit/ full payment if booking is less than 4 weeks’ away; and the return of your registration and booking forms. The final balance is due 4 weeks’ before arrival
  • Bookings are subject to a successful settling in period. Fees will not be returned if the placement does not go to plan, but the money for any future bookings and deposits will be refunded. Occasionally we may recommend a longer settling in period for clients who may just need some extra time to settle. In this instance, the terms and conditions for settling in periods still apply
  • Refunds will not be given if the booking is cancelled less than 4 weeks’ from the expected dates required and deposits will be retained
  • Following a successful settling in period, it is unlikely that your dog will need to be collected from us during its holiday. However, in some emergency cases such as illness or accident, unexpected aggression and unforeseen anxiety or distress; it is possible that we will need to get in touch with the emergency contact you specify on your registration form. We would of course consult a vet in any of the above situations, as it would be a deviation from what we know of the dog from their settling in period; and we would do our very best to comfort, rearrange sleeping areas, and sort out any medication as required. As a last resort, however, the emergency contact will need to collect your dog and either care for him or her until you arrive home, or arrange for someone else to do so. You will be liable for vet fees and accept the financial risk of having to return from holiday/work under these circumstances. Our care of your dog ends at the point they are collected by yourself or the emergency contact, and fees cannot be refunded due to short notice and that we originally intended to care for your dog for the duration of your booking
  • If you require regular day care, you will be invoiced monthly and fees are to be paid in advance. Once invoices have been received, they cannot be changed and payments are non-refundable, although your places will be secure
  • Day care can be on an ad-hoc basis, although you must consider that your place is only guaranteed if payment has been received

*Please note it is advisable that you give us at least 4 weeks’ notice of the dates you require. This is to ensure that we are able to offer you a visit and subsequent settling in period
